Thane typically puts out good products. I have been purchasing through their site for years. The Airospace mattress is a great mattress. The fact that it is also a couch is great, but really I enjoy sleeping on it. It supports my back and feels great. It has a unique chamber support system that really is nice. It does actually contour to your body like they say on the infomercials. I have been very pleased and would highly recommend this sleep system.

I was totally excited when my Air-O-Space 5 in 1 Sofa Bed arrived. The quality was very acceptable, but to my dismay a week later I started hearing popping noises on the inside which kept getting louder with each pop, and then my air sofa bed started turning into a unseatable/unsleepable beachballs sofa. I called Thane & they replaced my 5 in 1 sofabed immediately within a week. I expected no more problems with tedious caution, however, 3 months after receiving the replacement & one month after my last payment I began hearing the same inner popping noises, with the same consequences, only this time holes also began to appear in the same places where the beachballs began to appear. I am not a very big person, I never over or under inflated it, & I am the only one that uses it so I had no explanation. Apparently there are manufacturing defects which cause the inner air cylinders to unweld from the outer casing thus causing the overall beachball effect in all areas of the Air-O-Space 5 in 1 Sofa Bed except the arm & back rest. I am still in the process of getting a refund after talking to several customer representatives, but I feel the runaround after someone called Brian called me to inform me that they had received my request for "another replacement", as long as I pay for shipping & handling. I initially fell in love with the Air-O-Space 5 in 1 Sofa Bed, but now am falling out of it, "literally". I believe in this product but not in it's manufacturing defects.

I have not enjoyed the Air-O-Space 5 in 1 Sofa Bed, Mark. It is really just an overgrown air mattress. Now I will say that it has been great for camping and tailgating. But as far as an everyday couch, its not that comfortable. I bought it to make more space in my small living room, but I use it in our rec room now. If I could recommend it at all, it would be for those purposes or perhaps as a rec room couch. Its not all bad, its just not a real couch. So don't expect miracles. It has poor back support and frankly a waterbed kind of feel.

I had mixed feelings Mark. The Airospace sofabed is not really that great. But, truly, its not a bad deal for folks that want to have a decent sofa that is comfortable. Its also a pretty nice bed, but you have to remember what your paying for it. Its a really good deal. Its a cheap sofa and mattress combo. I think its totally worth it, as long as you know what you're getting. I would buy one for our vacation home, if we had a place for it. Its a nice sleeper and a nice couch. It really does solve a lot of problems at once. If you need an all in one kind of thing, this is it. Good luck with your review sites.
